Xiaomi's New Mi Air Costs Half The Apple MacBook Air Price
Xiaomi launched its own MacBook Air version called " Mi NoteBookAir 12.5 " in China and costs less than half the Apple MacBook price. Mi NoteBook Air features a 12.5 inch 1080p display and Apple MacBook appears to have been imitated by the company in design by keeping minimum bezels. The Intel 7th Gen i5-7Y54 processor power the NoteBook and another version with the 7th Gen m3 is available.
In the department of form factor, Mi Notebook 12.5 is only 12.9 mm thick and weighs 1.07 Kg or 2.35 lbs. The Chinese company said that the laptop has a battery life of 11.5 hours but did not mention the capacity of the battery. Xiaomi submitted that the Apple MacBook Air competitor can be charged to 50 percent in just 30 minutes because it supports 1C rapid charging.
MI NoteBook Air is equipped with a USB- A port, a USB- C port, a HDMI port and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Other notable features of the latest Xiaomi NoteBook include a backlit keyboard, 5 GHz Wi- Fi support, AKG speakers and a scratch- resistant glass trackpad.
One of the greatest disappointments is the 4 GB RAM, which can be a deal break for many users. If you run Windows OS, 4 GB RAM can only handle Google Chrome with a few tabs open. Xiaomi maintained the same 256 GB SSD as the previous edition.
